Trust-First Job Discovery: A Job-Seeker Platform Where Every Listing Is Real
A job-discovery platform for the U.S. market built on a simple promise: every listing a seeker sees is fresh, verified, and traceable to the employer's own hiring system — with AI that works only for the seeker.
The Problem We Saw
Job search platforms compete on volume, and job seekers pay the price. Listings stay up long after roles are filled, the same job appears a dozen times under different names, and headline numbers count inventory rather than real opportunities. AI has made it worse in places — tools that rewrite resumes into things a candidate never did, and platforms that serve recruiters and seekers at the same time with incentives that quietly favor whoever pays. The result is a search experience where applying often means shouting into the void.
What We Built
We built a job-discovery platform designed around trust instead of volume. An employer-origin sourcing engine discovers hiring systems at web scale, validates that each source is real and live, attributes it to the owning employer, and maintains a governed source registry with a full revision history. A contract-coupled aggregation pipeline retrieves jobs from those verified sources, deduplicates them into canonical listings, and tracks freshness snapshot by snapshot so closed roles leave the platform instead of lingering. Applying is redirect-first: seekers always land on the employer's own application page, never a re-hosted copy. AI is scoped to the seeker's side only — truth-preserving resume assistance and honest gap analysis grounded in the candidate's real experience — with no recruiter dashboards and no candidate ranking, a boundary that also keeps the platform outside automated-employment-decision-tool territory by design. Sourcing rights and hiring-regulation compliance were engineered in from the first architecture decision, not patched on later.
What It Enables
- Seekers see fresh, still-open, employer-origin listings — not recycled board inventory
- Every job traces to a validated employer source with clear provenance and a revision history
- Applications always happen on the employer's own site via redirect-first design
- AI assists only the seeker — reorganizing real experience, never fabricating it — with honest skill-gap analysis
- Trust is structural: freshness, deduplication, sourcing rights, and AI-regulation boundaries are built into the architecture
